The “Touch Optimized Interface” is what you’re using when the Toolbox on the lower left of the screen isn’t visible.
Previously if you long-touched and dragged you would not pan normally. This could be annoying and surprising because it’s easy to long-touch accidentally while panning around the map. Now, as long as you didn’t long-touch a token to start moving it, you’ll pan around the map normally.
