Please add this feature, that would be great…
I really fell in love with shmeppy in the limited time of trying it out. The freehand drawing tool is the only thing that somehow feels like a missing tool.
Nevertheless: It’s an awesome tool

In hindsight: After running a few games, I could do without this tool.
+1 to this. Would really like to be able to freehand draw for important props, puzzle elements, and environmental hazards, etc.
Tried out shmeppy for the first time last week and it was (almost) everything that I wanted in a VTT. Only a virtual white-erase map to bring our table experience online when we can’t play in person. The only missing thing would be the drawing tool, as you can only make so many distinctive objects with a colored square. When this will be added I will be using it again. Until then I’ll have to stick with Owlbear Rodeo, even if it is way too overblown for my use case.
