Using this idea for initiative tracking is great (How can I track initiative/turn order?) , but if we’re working on a large map everyone has to keep panning back to see it. I’d love to see an area for this (and other notes, possibly) that stays with the menu so it’s always on top.
I had the idea for a floating layer some time ago, kind of like a window inside of the Shmeppy canvas. I thought it might be a better way to introduce layers into Shmeppy than a traditional “select which layer to edit” sidebar.
Allowing that layer to be stickied to the window would be very interesting… It would allow for this, and probably some other interesting ideas.
